Premier Engineering (Yorkshire) Ltd were appointed to carry out a specialist balustrade restoration within a prestigious Grade II listed residence in Eaton Place, London — an address renowned for its architectural heritage and period detail. Our task was to sympathetically restore and replicate the original balustrade, ensuring complete authenticity and compliance with conservation standards. Using careful site measurements and historical reference, our CAD team produced precise drawings that captured every detail of the original design.
Existing wrought iron spindles were shot blasted and meticulously refurbished back to their former condition. Where sections were missing or damaged, we manufactured exact replicas, including a bespoke newel post crafted to match the period style perfectly.
Once complete, the restored and newly fabricated components were carefully installed on site by our expert team. The result was a seamless blend of original craftsmanship and modern precision – delivered with respect for the property’s listed status and to the full satisfaction of the client.
