UKCA (BS EN 1090 up to EXC 3 certified) For Fabrication And Laser Cutting Of Structural Steelwork.
Following extensive auditing, we have been awarded the BS EN 1090 certification up to Execution Class 3 (EXC3) for Factory Production Control (FPC). This accreditation enables us to laser, plasma, and flame cut components that meet UKCA marking requirements for use in construction projects.
Since 1st July 2014, CE marking has been mandatory for fabricated structural steel and related metalwork in the construction industry, aligning with the EU harmonised standard BS EN 1090-1/A1:2001. Recognising the importance of compliance, Premier Engineering underwent a rigorous audit process and implemented a Factory Production Control (FPC) system to meet the requirements set by the Construction Products Regulation (CPR).
Our accreditation allows us to offer thermal cutting and profiling of steel and aluminium components for structural applications, covering execution classes EXC1 to EXC3.
As of 1st January 2021, the UKCA marking has replaced CE marking for goods sold in Great Britain, and we continue to ensure full compliance with these regulations.
